where miai ends up taking koga to is a place that looks quite nice in terms of quality, but is still clearly semi-casual. most markedly, though, it's more like a recolle version of lazy dog cafe— meaning that people are encouraged to (and very much do) bring their dogs to the outside seating areas, and their (leashed) dogs enjoy peering curiously at other dogs and happily get lavished with attention as guests compliment each other on their sweet canine friends.
though a cat person himself, he's taken plenty of dates here before, since it seems to delight them. besides, dogs are cute. he makes a small arc with his arm, as though to reveal some trick like a magician. )
